Can I Get a Refund on My Unused Balance at the end of the school year?

A senior that has a positive balance of $5.00 or more on their lunch account will be either automatically refunded that money or the balance will be transferred to a returning sibling if this is known. If you were using the “Smart Pay” or automatic payment plan through www.mylunchmoney.com, to make deposits into your senior’s account, please make sure to disable that option to avoid more debits from your credit card when we process a refund or transfer. The refund checks will be processed and should arrive to households by mid July. Please make sure that your mailing address is correct in the school system.

If you have a student that is not a senior, but will NOT be returning next year, please contact me before June 12th for arrangements on refunds or transfers.

Any student ending the year with a negative balance of (-$3.00) or more will be on the School Obligation List and will not receive last quarter grades. Please make final payments so this does not occur. The obligation list is posted so students have this information and are aware of the procedures. If you are paying off an obligation after the third week of June, please contact Sue Jipner in the main office to have the student removed from obligations. All other balances will be carried over from year to year.

Please note that mylunchmoney will be disabled after the first week of June for year end procedures. Because of this, If a senior has a balance showing on MLM on-line, it might continue to show up even though their balance has been transferred or refunded.
